Parents must model what is believed and taught. ![]() The standardized testing program is that of the Archdiocese, the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills (ITBS), a Diagnostic test, which measures skills and abilities and provides the teacher and parents with information as to which areas of the curriculum an individual may need help. Students in grades five and eight also take the ACRE Test which is an assessment of their knowledge of the Catholic Religion. Tests supplied by the publishers of the various textbooks as well as teacher prepared tests, are given periodically in order to evaluate the progress of the students. ![]() Title 1 is the federally funded program for students who fall below the 30th percentile in the ITBS scores. This tutoring program is provided for Holy Family Grade School Students who live within the boundaries set by the Glendale Unified School District.
