	Expulsion Reasons for expulsion are, but not limited to the following offenses committed by pupils: Actions gravely detrimental to the moral and spiritual welfare of other pupils; Habitual profanity or vulgarity; Assault, battery or any threat of force or violence directed toward any school personnel or pupil; Open, persistent defiance of the authority of the teacher; Continued, willful disobedience; Use, sale or possession of narcotics; Use, sale, distribution or possession of any alcohol for beverage purposes on or near school premises; Smoking or having tobacco; Stealing; Willful cutting, defacing or otherwise injuring in any way property, real or personal, belonging to the school; Habitual truancy; Possession of harmful weapons (knives, guns, etc.) or materials than can be used as weapons. Never is anyone permitted to bring a weapon to school. (Even if the so-called weapon is a toy, it is a very serious offense.) The primary purpose of Catholic Education is to guide our students' growth in Christian values and moral conduct. Guidelines involving the violation of the sanctity of human life are found in the Archdiocese of LA Administrative Handbook and are available upon request in the school office.
