Dear Parents of Second Graders, My name is Anahi Walters and I will be your child’s teacher this year. Preparing the students for their sacraments, teaching the curriculum, and exceeding the curriculum provided for them are the goals of the year. We adhere to the California standards. The first week of classes children will be dismissed at 12:00p.m. We will begin with a review as they familiarize with their environment. The second week we will be dismissed at 2:45p.m. All of your questions regarding classroom rules, procedures, and so on will be answered on Back to School night when we will go through all that has to do with the classroom. Elmer’s white glue (not gel) 1 pair good children’s scissors (like Fiskars) Colored pencils (optional) 1 12 color set of Crayola Crayons 1 8 color set of thin markers 1 8 color set of thick markers 2 doz #2 pencils 1 12 color pencil set 1 pkg. 5x8 lined index cards (college ruled) CLASSROOM SUPPLIES 1 box heavy zip-lock sandwich bags 1 box heavy zip-lock gallon freezer bags 2 boxes of family size Kleenex tissue (super size) 3 Containers of Clorox or Lysol wipes 1 8 oz. instant hand sanitizer or a box of band-aids ART ROOM 1 Package Clorox wipes 1 Package Styrofoam plates DO NOT PURCHASE AN ASSIGNMENT BOOK.
