August 2010

Dear parents,

Welcome back to school! I hope you had a fun and safe summer.  I am delighted to have our students returning to school. A warm welcome to the new families joining our Holy Family Catholic Community.

I want your child/ren to be happy and successful at Holy Family and believe that you play a key role. A child who knows that his or her family supports the school program will enjoy greater success.

Discipline encourages students to be responsible for themselves, in word and action. At Holy Family we try to create a safe learning environment where courtesy and kindness prevail, and where there is respect for all people, customs and cultures. Our INTEGRITY theme this year will remind us to always respect one another and do the right thing even when it's difficult.

Remember that communication among parents, students and teachers is critical in assuring student success.

I look forward to working together towards another successful Book Fair this year.  As always, your help is truly appreciated.
Sincerely,

Ms. Maria Talavera
