Message From Our Pastor Father Jim Bevacqua ![]() August 2009 Dear Holy Family Grade School Families, A big and holy welcome back to all of you as we begin a totally new school year at Holy Family. Woo hoo!! We’re excited to have all of you back this year. A big warm welcome to all the new families, too. All of you make Holy Family Grade School what it is. Sowing the seeds of peace. That’s our theme for the new school year. I think often about how different the world would be if we all sowed seeds of peace. Instead of reacting…we try understanding. Instead of assuming the worst…we assume the best. Instead of speaking…we listen. Instead of gossiping…we pray. We are a Catholic community and we are proud to be Catholic. Being Catholic means we practice Christian values. Being Catholic, we worship together in community every Sunday. At the Eucharistic celebration, we open ourselves to be a changed person…to be transformed into a person who sows seeds of peace. Let’s all join together and let’s make this world a better place. Peace, prayers, love and blessings in the new school year. Rev. James M.
