WELCOME to the Holy Family Grade School Band program!
The Band meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:30 – 5 and will give students access to musical experiences that allow for the development of thinking skills, intuitive skills, practical abilities, communication and the ability to relate to others. It also gives one the ability to transcend the rudiments of all disciplines and find meaning in beauty and the expression of ideas and emotions.
This is my first year at Holy Family and also Holy Family’s first band program-- So I am excited and looking forward to making history with you. Our focus will be on wind and percussion instruments (flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, tuba, drums, and orchestra bells). Energy, Effort, and Enthusiasm, are the keys to our success. We are firmly committed to success and realize the responsibility we have in establishing and maintaining high standards of performance, discipline, respect, and pride.
Establishing excellence is a difficult task and can be done only through teamwork, preparation, and a relentless energy to achieve. The future success of this program depends upon our commitment and enthusiasm for working together and providing quality opportunities for our students. I look forward to accomplishing this with you.
