Dear Holy Family Grade School Families,
Welcome back! We are thrilled to have you back. We hope you all had a terrific summer and plenty of opportunities to “chill.”
This should be an awesome year with all of the technological advances that we have made in our school. All the 7th and 8th graders have iPads. All the teachers have iPads. All the classrooms have built-in PowerPoint projectors. Pretty cool! We at the Holy Family are determined to keep on top of the latest in the educational tools available to give our students a competitive edge and to ensure that their education is challenging and fun.
This year the theme is generosity. The Lord loves a cheerful giver. He wants us to be generous in all ways. Whether it is in helping another with their school work or in the giving of food to the hungry or cash in the collection … in all things generosity.
In Matthew 10:8, we find “Freely you have received, freely give”. As part of our forming our kids in the Catholic tradition, we do our best to instill them a sense of recognition that all good things come from God himself; and, thus, we have a need to give back with a generous heart. Thank you, God and thank you to all of you who are so generous.
